Hi, I'm Karen and I am so glad you are here! 

I’m 39 years old, a proud mum, and someone who genuinely loves being part of the community. I enjoy being outdoors, having real conversations, and meeting people from all walks of life. I love to laugh, and I’ve been told I have a pretty great sense of humour. Honestly, it’s what’s carried me through some of life’s messiest chapters.

I have always felt called to help others, even before I can remember. That calling only deepened as I moved through my own life experiences, surviving domestic violence, navigating a new country, overcoming fibromyalgia and facing seasons of isolation and loneliness. 

My journey led me to a very dark place and one I wouldn't wish on anyone.

But today, I can say with a full heart: I am proud of myself for overcoming it.

I know what it's like to feel invisible, to feel not okay. And whilst that is natural to feel this way, it is a feeling we don't have to experience alone.

To me, connection means feeling alive again. It's how we remember we matter. It's how we come back to ourselves. And it is the reason I created The Friendship Realm. A space where presence, companionship and emotional support can feel as natural as breathing. 

Everything I offer is shaped by what I've lived through and learnt along the way. I hold space with no judgement, genuine care, loyalty and compassion - because I've needed those things too.

This isn't therapy. It's not coaching. It's what I like to call friendship - the kind that helps you remember who you are.

This isn't about being perfect. It's about being real. And reminding each other that we don't have to walk alone. In a world where the pace never slows and life changes in an instant; that kind of connection is becoming increasingly rare.
